District 7
Hello District 7 Auxiliary Members.
I hope you all got over the cold weather and no one fell on the ice. By the time you read this article, the 2024 Winter Conference will be a distant memory. We learned more about each of the Auxiliary’s sponsored programs and how units are supporting our veterans.
Some units seem to be struggling with their membership and we learned several ways to help us increase the collection of member dues. If your member has a phone number or email, reach out to them and ask if you can assist them in any way. Let your units and members know that their membership matters. Send a card as a reminder and when you do receive their dues, send them in right away. Do not hold dues.
Although I have one more year to serve as your District President, I would like for someone to step up and take the reins to lead District 7 into the future. I will not accept this job again. Being a District President is an experience you will love. It is fun to meet members from around the District and state. You will learn so much and you will receive a lot of support from the Department Officers and other District Presidents.
Thank you, District 7 Auxiliary members and Department Officers for the assistance and support I have received from you. You are all special and serve our veterans well.
God Bless you and our veterans.
