Harwood Volunteer Donates to VAMC
Theresa Gross, a member of Richard E. Nelson Unit 297 of Harwood, donated dozens of handmade wheelchair and walker bags, ‘heart’ pillows, and ‘port’ cushions to the VA Medical Center in Fargo. Volunteers will be distributing them to current VA patients. Utilizing purchased and donated fabric, Theresa completed the project items, many with unique fabric and designs, while residing in Arizona over the winter months. Theresa was introduced by Harwood Unit President Carol Grieve at the April 14 District 1 Spring Meeting. Theresa displayed some of her creations for meeting attendees before delivering them to the VA.
